Guinness Oatmeal Bread
(Bread Machine Recipe)

1/2 cup flat Guinness stout, at room temperature
3 Tbl. real maple syrup (not maple-flavored pancake syrup)
1 large egg
1/2 cup water
4 Tbls. powdered buttermilk
2 cups flour
1/2 cup wheat flour
1 cup quick-cooking oatmeal
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbl. yeast
Place ingredients into bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Set for white bread and press start.
