Chicken Envelopes

2 cups cooked chicken, chopped               
1 package refrigerated crescent rolls         
3 ounces cream cheese

2 tablespoons margarine
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Blend cream cheese, margarine, salt, and pepper.  Add chicken and mix well.

Unroll crescent rolls into 4 rectangles.  Spoon mixture into the middle.  Fold opposite corners into middle.  Press down.  Brush top with melted butter.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.

4 servings.
