2 eggs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/3 cup flour
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 uncooked pie crust
Whipped cream for garnish
Put eggs in a food processor or blender and beat until frothy. Add remaining ingredients and process again until chocolate and nuts are coarsely chopped. (If you do this in a blender, you'll have to stop and start several times, scraping often.)Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees from 30 to 35 minutes, or until the center rises and pastry is tan. Serve topped with whipped cream, if desired.
Serves 8.
