Flank Steak


1-2 lb. flank steak                    
1 onion, quartered                    
3 garlic cloves                       
1-inch cube of peeled fresh ginger root

1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons oil
 
In a food processor, puree the onion, garlic, ginger root and pepper.

Add the soy sauce, honey and the oil and blend the mixture until it is all combined.

Coat the flank steak with the marinade and enclose it in a plastic bag. Let the flank steak marinate several hours. Before you grill the flank steak, let it sit at room temperature for three to four hours.

Grill the flank steak on each side for five to six minutes on each side and baste it several times with the marinade.
 

Serves 4 - 6.
