Grilled Onions

2 (8 oz. each) Vidalia or other sweet onions
1/4 cup butter
salt and pepper

Peel, remove ends, and cut the onions in half.  Set each half in the center of a square of aluminum foil.  Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.  Top with 1 Tbl. butter.  Wrap with foil

Grill over medium heat for about 20 minutes.
