Grilled Shrimp

4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 cup olive oil
1/2 cup finely chopped fresh basil
2 Tbl. vinegar
1 Tbl. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. hot sauce
2 lb. large fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined

Combine all ingredients except shrimp in a shallow dish.  Add shrimp, tossing gently to coat.  Cover and marinate for two to three hours in the refrigerator, stirring occasionally.

Remove shrimp from marinade, reserving the liquid.  Place shrimp on six 14" skewers.  Grill over medium-hot coals for three to four minutes on each side, basting with marinade.  Do not over cook or the shrimp will become tough.
